Hi, I’m Jason, a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. My experience includes working in private practice, residential settings, and providing crisis intervention services. I specialize in helping individuals and families navigate complex trauma, attachment, interpersonal challenges, anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, and BIPOC (black, indigenous, and people of color) issues.
I believe that healing begins with a foundation of trust and safety—much like building a sturdy bridge before crossing turbulent waters. Once that foundation is in place, I bring curiosity, humor, and compassion into the therapeutic space, helping clients explore their stories in a way that feels supportive and empowering.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, and somatic practices. With four years of experience, I have had the privilege of guiding individuals toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and emotional well-being.
Born and raised on Vancouver Island, I continue my own journey alongside my wife and twin boys. I understand that life’s path is never linear, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate yours.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to connect. Let’s work together to create meaningful change in your life.
